June is African-American Music Appreciation Month and the Sing For Hope pianos are back out all over the city of New York. Come out and hear New York play music on pianos that have been lovingly painted and decorated by local artists.  It’s one of my favorite things to do here in NYC and I always play one of my favorite pieces of all time, the Bach-Brahms Chaconne for the Left Hand Alone. This is something that I look forward to every year and this year I’ve asked friends to join me in giving pop-up performances all over the city.
